Emneth and West Walton Children's Centre Update
As you will be aware in July 2017 Emneth and West Walton Children's Centres joined together, led by the Governing Body of Emneth Nursery School. Additional cuts to all budgets of all Norfolk Children's Centres in November 2017 and a consultation with parents has resulted in a restructure of staff at both sites.
From Thursday 29th March 2018, the West Walton Children's Centre Team will no longer be based on the West Walton School site but will join the Team at Emneth. The contact number for all families for Children's Centre services and groups across the whole area will be 01945 582401 option 2.
Please note: These changes do not affect the sessions that the West Walton School currently provide for families (breakfast, after school and holiday club) These will continue t be run by West Walton Primary School as normal.
With the restructure of staffing completed, we will now be working hard to create a programme of services and groups which focus on the needs of all our families across the whole area.
To allow us time to make these changes, weekly groups run by Emneth and West Walton will finish on Friday 16th March 2018. All course currently running will continue during this period.
Our new Summer What's On Programme will start on the 16th April 2018 with a copy of which you will receive in the post.
We are aware that this has been an unsettled period for both families and our Team an have appreciated your continued support.
