Emneth Nursery School Governors-Who are they?
Holly Bowman-Head Teacher
I started my career at Emneth Nursery School in 2008 and became the Head Teacher in September 2016, having graduated from University in 2002 and I was one of the first group of teaching students to hold a teaching degree in Early Years. I have worked extensively as an Early Years Specialist teaching Nursery and Reception aged children as well as an advisor for the Local Authority. My childhood was spent in Melton Mowbray and I moved to Norfolk in 2002. I enjoy travelling and have visited many countries including Australia, India, Vietnam, Borneo and Thailand, learning many new insights along the way. I live at home with my Husband Phil, house rabbit Primrose and Cockapoo Poppy.

I have past experience of Local Government and practice accountancy as well as experience of auditing, project management, training, process improvement and people management. I enjoy motorbikes, DIY and photography. My granddaughter attends Emneth Nursery.

I am a Financial Adviser and also a Norfolk County Council councillor with involvement in finance, performance and communities. I have been on various school governing bodies including Emneth Primary for a good number of years and was an active member of the parents’ associations of the schools attended by his four children (now all grown up). My hobbies include my small holding (mostly for hay), horses, DIY and reading.

I have spent the last 17 years working at Emneth Academy. With several different roles over the years I am now HLTA and Top 20 coordinator.
Having lived in Emneth for 18 years, being a governor previously and my passion for children's education has given me the reason to return to the governance role. In my spare time I enjoy creative activities and spending time with friends and family.
Jules Stutchbury- Clerk to the Governors
I spent 20 years working for Barclays Bank undertaking a variety of roles from PA, Personal Banker and Regional Trainer to Branch Manager. For the last 11 years I have worked in Local Government as Civic Officer with responsibility for the Borough Mayor and organising many civic events. I have two sons, aged 20 and 13, and in my spare time enjoy photography, Pilates and Zumba.
Constance Tyce- Co-opted- EYFS, Progress, High achievers
I am a retired Local Authority Primary Adviser and specialized in Primary Mathematics and the Early Years. I was also a Registered Ofsted Inspector and Church SIAS Inspector. After retiring I spent two terms as Headteacher of Emneth Nursery School and Children’s Centre and for several years worked for the National College of School Leadership as a mentor and assessor on their NPQICL leadership programmes. I have also been involved in the ‘Communication Friendly Spaces’ programme and delivered training throughout the country to support practitioners in developing environments that enable children to maximize their learning opportunities. At present, I am a Trustee of the North Norfolk Academy Trust and the Diocesan PlayVan. Most of any spare time I have is spent with my six wonderful grandchildren.
