🍐 Bramblebee Farm – Pear & Apple Picking Adventure

Our Nursery children had a fantastic morning visiting Bramblebee Farm for a hands‑on fruit‑picking experience. Travelling by minibus was an exciting start to the day, and the children were eager to explore the orchard as soon as we arrived.

The group enjoyed searching for pears of all shapes and sizes, carefully comparing them and choosing the best ones to place in our crate to bring back to Nursery. Along the way, we discovered some rotten pears on the ground, which led to a brilliant conversation about decomposition and how fruit changes over time.

Of course, tasting a pear (or two… or three!) was part of the fun, and the children loved counting how many they had tried. After a short snack break, they had time to play on a go‑kart before heading over to pick apples from the trees.

The trip was full of curiosity, teamwork, and laughter — a wonderful opportunity for the children to explore nature, learn through real experiences, and enjoy being outdoors together.
