Parenting and Family Support

Supporting your family in the family home

Being a parent is a tough job. There may be times when you need an extra bit of help and support. Our Family workers can work in partnership with you, in your home, to build on your strengths and help you find solutions to challenges you may be facing as a parent.

How do I get this extra bit of help and support?

Simply pick up the telephone and call us. One of the team will take your details and we will take it from there. You can also drop into the centre or chat with one of the team at any of the groups we run.

You can also talk to your health visitor who can do a referral to the Children’s Centre on your behalf.

Sometimes we may recommend additional support from other professionals to help support you. With your permission we can arrange for them to meet with you to help you achieve the best outcomes for your children.

We are committed to safeguarding all children, ensuring all reasonable measures are taken to minimise the risk of harm to a child’s welfare.
