FUNDING CURRENTLY AVAILABLE
We allow parents to stretch funding for all year round children. Please speak to the School Business Manager Jill Ahearn regarding how this works.
TWO YEAR OLD FUNDING
Some eligible parents of 2-year-old children may be entitled to 15 hours childcare support, if they receive some additional forms of government support. We offer either a morning or afternoon session, each 3 hours long. You are entitled to have 5 sessions a week dependent on us having the spaces available at the time.
THREE AND FOUR YEAR OLD UNIVERSAL FUNDING
Emneth Nursery is registered to receive 3 and 4 year old funding. This is universal funding so all 3 and 4 year olds are eligible to claim this. We offer either a 3 hour morning or 3 hour afternoon session or longer school days of 8.30-3.30pm. Breakfast, lunch and after school club are chargeable and not part of free hours.
30 HOURS OF FREE CHILDCARE FOR THREE AND FOUR YEAR OLDS
In September 2017 the Government introduced free childcare for eligible working families. To see if you might qualify then click the link to the Childcare Choices website below. We offer limited places for 30 hours and you can register with us for this the term prior to your child becoming eligible. Parents are given a code from HMRC that is valid for 90 days. We currently offer some term time only spaces for families eligible 8.30-3.30pm and limited all year round spaces which can be taken either 8-11.30pm/12.30-5pm/8-5pm. Parents can supply a packed lunch for free or be provided with a hot lunch at a cost of £2.40

TAX FREE CHILDCARE
You can get up to £500 every 3 months (up to £2,000 a year) for each of your children to help with the costs of childcare. This goes up to £1,000 every 3 months if a child is disabled (up to £4,000 a year).
If you’ve already registered, you can sign in to your childcare account.
If you get Tax-Free Childcare, you’ll set up an online childcare account for your child. For every £8 you pay into this account, the government will pay in £2 to use to pay your provider.
You can get Tax-Free Childcare at the same time as 15 or 30 hours free childcare if you’re eligible for both.
